Mike, I am so sorry that this did not have a better ending. Just like so many other people do, I love and respect your Mom. She will be missed. Thank you for the excellent job that you did keeping us all informed. What a great son you are! Please call if you, your Dad, and your family need anything.

Mike, I hope you read this in time (or Beth does), call me at 970 216 0801, and let me know if I can perhaps get a ride with anyone coming out of the DFW area to your mom's service? I will be staying at the Comfort Suites in Grapevine since my flight wont get there till midnight Wed. I have to fly back out (be at airport by 4:30) Thursday to be home in time for my son's (Jason's) wedding rehearsal on Friday (and I'm cooking it).
ReplyDeleteI am truly heartbroken that this has happened, but I can also completely assure you she's healed now... totally and wonderfully whole.

Mike-Wish I could be there Thursday to honor your mom and give you and your family love and support. I am heart-broken for you. I'm sure your mom would be extremely proud of how you have held everything together to care for her and your dad.

Mike,
ReplyDeleteYou and your Dad did a wonderful service for your Mom. Your mother always put her family first. She loved you, Daryl and your Dad very much. I know how proud she was of the man you have become.
Thank you for keeping all of the people who loved Norma informed during her illness. I'm sure that was difficult but you did a wonderful service for all of us.
Keep remembering all of the wonderful times you have had with your family and it will help you heal over time.
Thank you and God bless you and your family.
